Don’t Call It A Comeback

Don’t Call It A Comeback

Dearest reader,

How have you been? I have been silent for a long time. Comfortably under my shell of doubts and procrastination, even though no month went by without the urge to share the zillions of thoughts with you. But life happened, changes occurred, either I had to move with the wind or stand still. I did both. Moving in some areas while standing still in other parts of my life. Isn’t that what they mean with balance?

Or shall I call it reconnecting with myself? I know it isn’t a sabbatical year because I didn’t plan it. Maybe the closest narrative is calling it procrastination, since I shifted every draft to the next month and the next, till I grasped the courage almost two years later to write this 2 minutes post of today. I became busy prioritizing on what had to be done (the bills, family, socializing and juggling with commitments) anything else that didn’t pay the bills was put on hold. Whether it is one of these motives or a combination of the above, I had no control over it!

Whatever tag or sticker you want to put on it, pausing the things you love is sometimes necessary to realize that you can’t do without it. Then it creates a void in your life. Even if you try to replace it with other comparable remedies, the level of passion isn’t the same. Without it I don’t think you will be able to fully flourish in what you truly love.

If you are reading my post for the first time, you are very welcome! I have written many crazy, dark but also beautiful thoughts in other posts. Check out my first post during Corona! For the readers that are familiar with my posts, thank you and welcome back. I am looking forward to read your comments and thoughts again.
